Lucknow — Integral University, Lucknow, marked the grand inauguration of its annual cultural and literary festival Fiesta 2026 with enthusiasm and splendour. The three-day celebration, scheduled from February 5 to February 7, 2026, showcased creativity, cultural diversity and student talent through a wide array of engaging events.
The inaugural ceremony was presided over by the Chancellor and Founder, Prof. S. W. Akhtar, who attended as the Chief Patron and Chief Guest. Chancellor Azra Waseem, Co-Founder of Integral University, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour. The event was further dignified by the presence of Pro-Chancellor Dr. Syed Nadeem Akhtar, Additional Pro-Chancellors Syed Fauzan Akhtar, Syed Adnan Akhtar and Dr. Nida Fatima, Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat, Chief Advisor to the Chancellor Prof. Furqan Qamar, and Registrar Prof. Mohammad Haris Siddiqui.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. S. W. Akhtar congratulated the students and faculty for their dedicated efforts in organising Fiesta 2026. He emphasised the importance of cultural and literary activities in nurturing confident, creative and socially responsible individuals. Highlighting the university’s vision of holistic education, he said such platforms enable students to explore their potential beyond academics. He also underlined the values of equality, inclusiveness, non-discrimination and social harmony, urging students to respect diversity and contribute towards a peaceful and cohesive society.
In his address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Javed Musarrat spoke about the significance of Fiesta 2026 in promoting all-round student development. Quoting Swami Vivekananda’s inspiring words, “Arise, awake, and stop not till the goal is reached,” he encouraged students to remain focused, disciplined and determined in achieving their goals. He reaffirmed the university’s commitment to excellence in academics, co-curricular and extracurricular pursuits while celebrating unity in diversity.
Fiesta 2026 serves as a vibrant platform for students to showcase their artistic, literary and cultural talents, fostering creativity, unity and excellence. With enthusiastic participation from the university community and invited guests, the festival promises to be a memorable and enriching experience.
